March 1, 1955:	Matthews, Bartlett & Dedecker, Inc. is incorporated in Buffalo, NY.
March 1, 2000:	Matthews, Bartlett & Dedecker, Inc. (later renamed M&T Insurance Agency, Inc.), is acquired by M&T Bank.
Sept. 15, 2003:	Matthews, Bartlett & Dedecker, Inc. acquires the Lounsbury Insurance Agency, Inc., a commercial and personal insurance agency located in Syracuse, New York.
March 1, 2005:	Matthews, Bartlett & Dedecker, Inc., officially changes its name to M&T Insurance Agency, Inc.
February 1, 2006:	M&T Insurance Agency, Inc., acquires Hess, Egan, Hagerty & L'Hommedieu, Inc., a commercial insurance and surety agency with offices in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
